When you purchase a SnackRead, you download the file from our web site to your computer. There are a few simple steps to load the ebook file onto your e-reader.

Kindle

There are multiple methods for transfering ebooks to your Kindle. An email address is associated with your Kindle account, something like [name]@kindle.com. You can email an ebook file to that address and it will be added to your Kindle library. If you connect your Kindle to the Internet by WiFi, Amazon will not charge you for sending the book to your Kindle (you must use the [name]@free.kindle.com version of the address). If you connect with 3G, Amazon will charge .15 per megabyte to transfer the ebook to your Kindle. You can read more about the details at Amazon’s web site.

Alternatively, you can plug your Kindle into your computer and treat it as a USB drive. Drag the ebook file into the Docmunents folder on the Kindle.

Nook

You can plug your Nook into your computer and treat it as a USB drive. Drag the ebook file into the My Docmunents folder on the Kindle.

iPad/iPhone

There are multiple ways to read a SnackRead on your iPad/iPhone.

You can use Safari or the Mail app to download the EPUB version of  the ebook directly from snackreads.com to your device. You can then read the book with iBooks, or a third party EPUB reader.

If you have the Kindle App on your device, you can send the MOBI version to your Kindle account.

Android

There are multiple ways to read a SnackRead on your Android device. If you upload to your Google Play account the ebook will be automatically available on any device with that app installed. Also common is using the Kindle App. In this case, purchase the MOBI version of the ebook and send it to your Kindle account. Alternatively, there are many 3rd party apps for reading EPUB files on your Android device. If you have one of those, you can download the ebook directly to your device from snackreads.com.
